Wedding Postscript

We absolutely loved last week's celebrations and festivities.  There were so many touching moments and thoughtfulness on the part of the bride and groom, from a welcoming gift of a candle in our bedroom on arriving at the accommodation prior to the wedding, to a letter to be opened on the morning of the wedding with a personal note from the happy couple.  As the 'favourite auntie' L was also given a small champagne flute, suitably inscribed for the purpose and she was even mentioned in the groom's and best men's speeches.  Finally, as the bridesmaids had left before we collected the flowers from the venue L was given one of their bouquets to keep.  Even now, more than a week later it is only just going over.

We've still to see many of the official photographs, not to mention a video, the trailer for which has already brought us close to tears.  It was truly a highlight of the year, if not all of our time together, since we have had nephews in the family.
