You know there’s a problem.....

...when a pack of highviz heavies descend on your front garden.

I left in a rush this morning, but not before I’d interrupted these guys to find out what was happening. I discovered (for the first time and with no notification) that there were plans to take over our communal estate garden for a site to accommodate contractors working on a breach of the river embankment.
Disturbed but running late I was horrified to return in the early evening to discover two mature trees had been felled (see extra)
I was shocked at how irate, upset and consumed with indignation I felt.
I went to bed late that night , but didn’t sleep....
