Sandhill Cranes at Clearwater Lake, Ocala N. F.

We rode our bikes on the path around the lake at the campground, late afternoon today. We came upon this trio of Cranes at the far end of the lake- had been hearing them every morning and evening - saw them a couple of times flying. It's so nice to see them in a wild environment like this, as opposed to the state park where they often get fed (although it's prohibited). We enjoyed watching them feed- at least one always keeps an eye out while the other(s) eat.
