last morning, camping at Ocala National Forest
- ate our breakfast outside, enjoying the view of the lake, and this hawk landed on a branch not far from us. It was watching the tall brush near the water, and stayed while I got closer, but the light wasn't great. It looked more like a red-shouldered hawk than anything else, but the tail was so short I wasn't sure.
