Waiting

I don't know if it was just me wishful thinking, but it felt a little cooler at the bus stop this morning. I am sincerely hoping that we've seen the last of our heatwaves now!

Back at the office today, and honestly, I am so looking forward to having a week off in September. I still adore this job, but I haven't had more than 2 days off in a row since April, I think, and all the days I have taken have been to Do Fun Stuff, so I'm just running out of energy a bit, really. I've pencilled in a couple of Do Absolutely Nothing days for my birthday week off so I have some time to just recharge.
