3 buzzards and a Chinook.....

Another dry start.
Arthur from Hamilton Tractors arrived out to replace the 2 batteries on my McCormick tractor so hopefully that has cured yesterday’s breakdown. He also replaced one of the steering ram joints so hopefully it will be less like sailing a ship every time I go down the road !
Headed off back down to Bandit country and baled up the barley straw that was cut . Had expected their combine to be out, but they were sorting a breakdown ,so I’ve now caught up with all the straw. Back home then off down the road again to haul bales home. In the rain.
Spotted this huge Chinook flying low over the farm this afternoon. Low level , just above the trees. No doubt training in preparation for civil unrest come 31 October !
