Like mother like daughter

I accidentally left the tray on the dashboard in a hot car. Called a "stable table" it has a cushion underneath and is great for eating/reading/writing/facebooking in bed, on the couch, etc. I had been using it as a surface for punching holes in photocopied music scores on my way to conduct a gig and putting them into a folder. Far from stable now!

My daughter accidentally put the mug into the dishwasher. Definitely not dishwasher safe, as it had a heat-sensitive transfer on it, depicting Alice and the Cheshire Cat, where the cat disappears when the mug is filled with a hot drink, leaving only the grin. I blipped it a couple of months ago here. The cat's definitely had more than just the smile wiped off its face!
