Sweet Painted Lady

Kate came over to collect Sophie after breakfast and we all went to help Tess choose new reading glasses and get some last minute things for Kate & Sophie for the new term.

They went home after lunch and we nipped over to Wells to collect a book we had ordered then called in to see our friends Tony & Rosie with a present for Rosie, whose birthday it is tomorrow.

After a pleasant hour chatting over coffee, we left to do a bit of food shopping. With no blip in the bag, I was grateful there were a few visitors to the buddleia bush in the back lane, which bears no resemblance to a yellow brick road:
