But it is late and I’m tired. And not many people in this household had a good day, I think the best way to describe it was that we were all feeling sad about the people and things we care about.

I always think of the lines from a Steely Dan song when feeling like this. "Any major dude with half a heart surely will tell you my friend / any minor world that breaks apart falls together again / when the demon is at your door / in the morning it won’t be there no more". In other words, tomorrow is another day.
