Helicopter

We were enjoying the last of the evening sun with our drinks in the pub garden when a noisy helicopter flew overhead.  It then did a circuit and flew over us again.  I could have got a bit irritated when after another circuit it drowned out our conversation a third time.  We then watched it as it flew in lower over the field and, at one point, looked as if it was going to land but, instead, it flew towards the pub at low level, hovered near us and appeared to be doing a little dance for us before turning and flying away.

I have no idea what it was doing or why it was there but, apart from the noise, it provided a little bit of entertainment (and today's blip) before we went inside to eat.
