MV Artania

Arriving in South Queensferry we were taken aback by the number of Heras fences spread round the entrance to the pier and halfway over the carpark. On turning round we caught sight of MV Artania moored some distance out, near Inchgarvie; we had seen this cruise ship moored off Ullapool just nine days ago as we drove up to Assynt.
From our perspective, at 230.61 m (756.59 ft) she appear much the same size as the Maid of the Forth, a mere 20m (65 ft), moored at the pier.

Btw regarding my concern regarding the servicing, I checked with the sewing machine shop and they demonstrated, very kindly, that I was mistaken. So all is well.
