Shield Bug

When a shield bug crawled across the windscreen on our way to church this morning we realised we had a stowaway in the car.

I'd forgotten all about it by the time we returned but halfway home it proceeded to walk along the dashboard - see extra.

I chucked it out rehomed it shortly afterwards and it is now a resident of the lower reaches of Blackford Hill.
