St Moritz to Vezia, Lugano 127 miles

We woke to a heavy fog this morning so it was a chilly start to the day. As a change of plan we set off to do the Albula Pass but found it closed for a cycling event so we retraced our steps to go back to plan A. The skies were clearing by then and it was certainly warmer.

We crossed the Julier Pass (2284m) and the San Bernardino (2066m) both beautiful runs...but oh the Sunday traffic and the roadworks!! We arrived in Vezia in time for a swim before heading across the road for dinner. An early night again so we can hit the road early in the morning.

Collage today shows St Moritz as we left this morning, then as we drove through again after defaulting to Plan A; our lunch stop...I did like the derelict barn; a little off roading in Splugen when we discovered it hadn’t been finished and the Nomad all tucked up in its own room tonight!!
