No witches here today
MONDAY
Working from home again today.
I took the opportunity for a 10 km run at lunchtime running up to Norland village and then around the moor and over the top towards home.
It was a challenging run with strong headwinds, puddles, rocks, narrow paths and boisterous wet dogs.
I ran past this huge slab of rock known as The Ladstone (pictured). Legend has it has been used for sacrifice and also that witches were thrown from this rock in the Middle Ages but none were to be seen today.
The name is apparently based on the Celtic word for "kill" being "Lladd".
