Last Day Of Summer

I was running a little late this morning so I thought I’d drive to the Veterans Breakfast - as I arrived the heavens opened and it poured down.
No Clare, Sam or Josh with me but eleven of us for a great breakfast today and we have the promise of more for Septembers.
I the afternoon the sun shone and I pottered around in the garden.
Did a little housework and made an apple pie.
