happy 21st birthday

the angels were made when we first moved to this house, twenty one years ago. They've enjoyed their annual outing, I think, and they've certainly seen some changes. They don't look much older than when they first joined us, but they are in fact 21 now.
We took the decorations down today and the tree is awaiting the recyclers' visit. The sitting room looks pleasingly empty - though this year I was more reluctant to take the decorations down than usual, maybe because we've been away more.
We had a walk down to the river after lunch, still flooded but the water's going down now.
