Portobello Beach Edinburgh Day 129
He ain't heavy ... he's my brother!
Today I have heeded advice to resist always blipping on my morning run. The afternoon stroll revealed a host of families enjoying the last weekend before school resumes. Sand castling. Paddling. Two brave swimmers. Kite flying. The Polish accordion player providing the sound track from his familiar spot on the prom. The BA shuttle joined in at 1800 feet, flying crab-like on the stiff south easterly breeze on its final turn into Turnhouse.
These children were enjoying what looked like a custom built Christmas present. Gets my vote over a games console any day!
