Great Spotted Woodpecker

First visit of the year to our feeders. A very mild day, when we saw many visitors including:
Coal Tit
Bluetit
Magpie
Long Tailed Tit
Robin
Goldfinch
Blackbird
Black Cap
Bullfinch (male)
Chaffinch (male)

I am tagging this entry "BlipBigYear", to link into the Nature and Wildlife Group project, to try and list the number of birds Blippers capture all over the world during 2013. I think this might be the first Great Spotted Woodpecker.

I've also just registered for the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch over the weekend of 26/27 January. Worth a look and getting involved.
