WTF.....

A slow day . Kev didn’t turn up again today so it was on to plan B by 7.30am.
Managed to draft in Duncan to haul straw bales home again.
Jim and Simon turned up to make a start on replacing the slats in the shed. The ones that are coming out were put in in 1974 and are well past their sell by date , as we have had a few broken ones over the last couple of winters. Luckily not enough at once to cause any damage to cattle but it could happen so better to bite the bullet now.
Then a rush down to Haddington to get a puncture fixed and pick up spares for our combine . Back home and the rest of the day spent shifting barley about again.
Went to Tesco for fuel tonight as had a voucher about to expire . I thought it was 3 September , harvest still to finish , autumn leaves about to fall etc. Tesco obviously think it is mid December. Or is this so you can do your Christmas shopping now before Brexit Boris and all his cronies causes country wide famine and pestilence ?
