Turtles Basking in the Sun

Dear Diary,

We are having such lovely weather lately it makes it hard for me to think of the catastrophic devastation Hurricane Dorian left in its wake in the Bahamas and what may yet be instore for the coastal US.  These five turtles were just enjoying a sunny log and I was enjoying watching them.  My friends own a mountain top cabin which has this delightful pond on the property.  I so enjoy visiting it.  It is a peaceful and secluded sanctuary in a crazy and chaotic world.  We all need such places.
