Divide and Transplant

Dear Diary,

September is the time to divide the perennials and spread them around.  Thank goodness for John because I couldn't do it alone.  Even with his help I was in a lot of pain last night from the digging and bending.  He'll be back next week to continue but I might take a less active role in the proceedings.  We have two huge Baptistia to divide and they are really hard to dig up.  One nice thing about this is I get to share extra plants with others.  Today is a recovery day for me.
