I was at Ninewells Hospital this morning for a trip to A&E with my husband and his sprained ankle (which turned out to be just sprained and, although very painful, thankfully not broken).

I had not seen
Maggie's Centre before, but it stopped me in my tracks. A really interesting and visually stunning building, I think. I particularly liked the landscaped grassy area and labyrinth.

I wanted to stop a while, sit and enjoy such beautiful surroundings but, what with the grass being very squelchy and boggy and husband needing home to get his feet up with some painkillers, it will need to wait for another time.

Hopefully not through necessity, though.


On another note, I met an old friend/ex-colleague/substitute wee brother today, the first meeting in about a year. A year is too long.

Somehow I just felt that it would be the last meeting. But that's okay. Life moves on. At least I know he is happy and everything is falling into place for him :)
