Hail, Hail the Gangs All Here!

Dear Diary,

I drove down to Massachusetts to attend a “Thank Goodness We’re Not Going Back” (to school) party. This is all of us gathered on the rooftop deck of my best friend’’s house. We were all teachers at the Pierce Middle School and we are all now very happily retired. Yes, we talked about old school stories and, of course, politics but mostly we talked about our travels and their grandchildren. Such a lovely time. We all said we should make this an annual event.
