Back to the tracks

Couldn’t miss the opportunity to turn out for the steam train on its journey through Southampton today. We caught up with it at Totton, heading for the New Forest and on to Bournemouth and Weymouth.
Loco 60009 Union of South Africa still attracts plenty of followers whether they are passengers taking the special excursions hauled by the historic loco.
But then mighty locomotives like this are part of our heritage, and even now on busy routes, are still a bit special for train buffs.
