Across the Seine

Pont de Normandie - spans the river Seine linking Le Havre to Honfleur. It's a long time since we were in Normandy and I think this bridge was quite new when we were last here. There are more spectacular photos of it, but this is the best I could do, despite walking along a footpath right up to it, under it and on it. It's pretty impressive. 

So, Calais to Normandy and we are now in a little village nor far from the sea and in a hotel in the middle (see map). The restaurant (see extra) is in what were once the vaults of the ancient 16th century market. 

A bit of a diversion as tomorrow I am hopefully going to Bayeux to see the Tapestry. I have always wanted to see it, but never quite managed it.
