WALES

ok I’m not always on holiday!!!!!....but we are up in Wales as it’s an important day for The Rev. He is submitting his final year dissertation which he has worked so hard on. He also felt a 2 night stay in a nice hotel was a necessity :))))) such a shame
En route we stopped off a Lydiard Park rather than a motorway services. It was only 5 mins off the motorway and was nice to have a stroll around.
The hotel is very modern at the new dock area....we weren’t happy with our first room as it had an awful outlook so we braved it and requested a room change. I never understand why we are so reluctant to ask things like this...so British to put up then moan later :))))
We sat on our lovely balcony sipping wine and eating olives like we were in the Mediterranean ... it was so hot (honestly) that I had to come in!!! I’m sure it’ll rain tomorrow!!
