Bright Sparks

One of the words in today's weekly spelling test was "neural." I read it with the example sentence, "When neurons make connections they form neural pathways." One bright spark in the class piped up, "Some computers use neural networks." That prompted me to make a brief segue into A.I. research.

I thought that was very impressive for an eight year old, and that helped to earn him the Star Of The Week award.
