Today's the day ………………………….. to get ready

Excitement is already building today in the little town of Kirkcudbright because tomorrow it will host the finish of Stage 1 of the Tour of Britain Cycle Race.

There have been notices up for a few days now in several of the streets, warning of restrictions on access and parking that will come into force at 10.00pm tonight.  There are all sorts of plans afoot to cope with the thousands of spectators that they expect will come tomorrow to witness the spectacle.  It's all very exciting.

And I am one of the volunteers that has put my name forward to help somewhere along the race route.  So hopefully tomorrow, I can bring you a first-hand report …………………….!
