Field of Gold

A lovely afternoon so we went for a drive along the high road by the River Tay and so many of the fields were different shades of gold. Stopped for a coffee at Cairnie’s Farm and then ambled back across country, as our visitors weren’t due to arrive until 6 pm.

However we got a phone call en route to say they were running early and were actually parked in our drive in their large motorhome at 4.30:-)

A mad dash along narrow winding roads and we arrived just 10 minutes later. Fortunately the visitors are family, so they weren’t upset that we hadn’t been home to greet them!

A lovely evening catching up with news etc and they are staying in our guest room for the weekend, so no need to take them a cup of tea in the morning outside!
