Crail Harbour
A lovely sunny day and actually hot when out of the wind, so we gave our visitors a couple of choices of where they'd like to go and they chose the East Neuk of Fife. An excellent choice and our first stop was Crail, where we had lunch at the little cafe on the hill towards the harbour.
We sat outside in the sunshine and could easily have imagined ourselves on a Greek island (see Extra)! We were even able to sit at the harbour later to enjoy an ice cream cone!
We continued along the coast and visited Cellardyke and then Anstruther, where after a lovely walk we had the worse plastic cups of tea and coffee ever experienced sitting outside a cafe! When I had asked for Earl Grey, they didn't even know what it was!!!
After a pleasant drive home, still in sunshine, we relaxed in the garden before going out again in the evening for a super meal at a local Indian restaurant. Now extremely full and wising I hadn't eaten so much:-)
