my new hobby

My gran & mum taught me to knit when I was youn and then I promptly forgot for the past 20 odd years. a couple of years ago when rummaging through bits & pieces back home in Nottm, I found my mum's old knitting needles and brought them back over in order to eek it for all my friends with babies. Alas, I realise that it's not like riding a bike - it didn't come back to me & I had to wait till last year when my bestie from Ireland came to show me the basics again & my mum finished me off with some more tips and tricks this Christmas & a couple do beginner books when she's not around to help face to face.

So this blip is my second fingerless glove - hopefully completed by tomorrow :o)
