Confetti

A happy day for J and my Polish friend J on their wedding day.  The service was held in our tiny church and then a party afterwards in J's beautiful garden with breathtaking views.  The weather behaved, the food delicious and fun was had by all, children included.  And as the sun set there were fires lit to keep us all warm.  There were people from Poland, Switzerland, Latvia, Paris and of course, their local friends. 

Yesterday one of my old friends from 47 years ago dropped in to see me.  We hadn't seen each other for all that time and it was if the years hadn't rolled by, we talked and talked and talked!
