Straw and more straw

There were many straw bales made this year from the harvest, not all of them could fit into the barns. These will get used up quickly once the cows come inside after the winter weather sets in and the ground gets too wet for the animals to stay outside.

We had nearly one inch of rain yesterday but the ground is comparatively dry except for a few large puddles.
