Quiet and peaceful

I may have mentioned before I live close to the A1. Just on the far left you can see the motorway lights as the road leaves Sandy. On the far right, but just out of view is my house. This large fairly high bank of grass shields us from the A1 and absorbs some of the noise no doubt. But you get used to the background noise really and in a funny way its comforting to know daily life is all around you. This was my morning dog walk and it was quiet and calm as I walked back around the estate, so we walked up and along the bank. A lovely autumn nip in the air.
