A gorgeous morning

This is the view from the window of my room in a delightful B and B in the Noord Holland village of Hippolytushoef.

Yesterday’s drive after the show was amazing - from Zwolle through Friesland and then across the dyke (33 km) to the village where the President of the dog club and his wife live.

This part of the Netherlands is fascinating, charming and welcoming. I’ve been so lucky to have this opportunity to judge here. This is a region that deserves a return visit, perfect to explore.

Later this morning, I’ll be having coffee with my hosts, and then being driven back to Amsterdam for my flight home.
