A Grand Day Out

Me & Mrs MD paid a short visit to the Norland Scarecrow Festival this afternoon.  Unfortunately today's wet weather had not been kind to the displays, however some had survived quite well.
The theme was 'Anything to do with Space and Sci-fi' and, as usual, the ingenuity and workmanship of the entrants was amazing.
I rather liked Wallace & Gromit 'A Grand Day Out' - because "everyone knows the moon is made of Wensleydale Cheese!."
In extra I have put 'The Sky at Night' - it's a rather good effigy of Sir Patrick Moore, complete with monocle ......:-)
