Backblipped

The start of a busy and enjoyable weekend.

David and Kenny were playing golf so when they headed off to play, Ele and I headed to Broadslap for lunch.  I drove so Ele could have a run in the new car.  I really do love it but it's a much wider car than I've been used to driving so that took a bit of getting used to as we drove along the busy High Street, which had cars parked either side.

When we got back Alan had a visitor.  

Sarah was one of the agency support workers who's been part of Alan's team for a couple of years.  She recently qualified as a nurse so is disbarred from working in the care sector now (plus she now has a full time job) but she and Alan got on so well, she is keen to keep in touch.

As you can see, he was delighted to see her.

Kenny and David returned having had a good round (David won!) and after freshening up, we headed back to the golf club for dinner.  

We usually eat in the lounge bar but decided to eat in the dining room for a change and had an absolutely delicious meal.  

Home to Lola who was spoiled by lots of fussing and cuddles from Ele.
