Seat of Learning

An emotional day at a conference at Edinburgh University finding out more about the links between animal cruelty, adverse childhood experiences and human violence.
This is the third course I have attended on this subject and it really doesn't get any easier to listen to.
However, there is great work being done and lots of multi-disciplinary collaboration, which hopefully will bring about positive change.
Afterwards, I met eldest child for drinks and food. He toddled off, with a full belly and a mum hug imprinted on him, to meet friends to head out clubbing.
I caught the train home and had a cup of tea.
