Football

We arrived at Oskar’s first high school football game 5 minutes late…..traffic, and went to the wrong field first….(clearly not in the city..look at those trees!!)   it had just started to rain (we had coats and umbrellas!) .  We missed the first play in which Oskar suffered some sort of injury to his thumb I think. …he did play briefly but then that was it.. Fortunately the rain stopped but we left at the half.   Not a great start for him....he'll be bummed...he’s been so excited to be freshman quarterback (#2) …they have custom fitted helmets (I should hope so)   To be honest, we are 2 grandparents happy to see him NOT play…we’ll see how this goes….
