In the Shade

In spite of the unhealthy air  (it’s hazy but nothing like other places where the wildfires are burning) and the heat (hot..93F… for Seattle but can’t complain when looking at many other hotter places south.) , we took a walk along the lake and had a shade/rest break in this lovely little park.  We are lucky to have this pretty flat trail…some of the new developers have done a wonderful job of landscaping a pleasing walk along the lake.   I was wishing there was a bird on that bench but no luck so but had to go find one on my computer. (“Ideas to make with driftwood”)  There’s been a bluejay hanging about the condo but I haven’t been able to catch him on our railing.    The timing of getting our new HVAC was perfect..who knew we’d have hot smokey air this week to try to escape.  It’s lovely.  (I'm looking for something POSITIVE)
