Visitor!

This collared dove was sitting quite happily by the patio doors, I'm not sure why, he didn't seem to be asleep but he was certainly hunkered down against the cool breeze. The feathers on his breast were the most delicate shade and looked so soft. The doves often come to the feeders, but this is the first time any have come so close to the house.
