Westray airport

A jam packed busy day in Westray. Which included a meeting as we walked around the bay at Pierowall to see the seals. Worse ways to earn a living.

This is the islander plane I got on to fly back to Kirkwall. I had just watched it complete the worlds shortest scheduled commercial flight in the world, from Papa Westray to Westray. It officially takes 2.5 minutes but us in the Guinness book of world records as having been completed in 53 seconds.

All of the inter island flights are great fun , if you ever visit Orkney try and take a flight to one of the outer isles.
