The Day After...

...the wedding and the party. A few people were already on their way home but most of us were staying one more night so we gathered back at Fattoria Le Giare with it's suites and swimming pool.
The day was spent quietly with a few bursts of activity. A game of swimming pool volley ball turned into a tug-of-war across the pool using the line that had previously been the net!
It was the first day of the whole trip that I actually read my book. As the sun went behind clouds I even felt a little cool!
This picture shows Cortona, the centre of the area and a well-visited hill town. The air was very clear, making this picture possible as the town was several kilometres away (see extra).
