Down to visit Bob's dad again in hospital.

A perfect pick-us-up seemed to be artist Florentijn Hofman's luminescent 15 metre high yellow duck, afloat in Darling Harbour to mark the opening of the Sydney Festival yesterday.

It proved to be more buoyant that our mood, but it was hard not to be charmed by the whimsy of it all.
