Gundi
I got up earlier than Neil and could not get the shower hot. I need to read my fathers instructions. So much has changed since I was here on my own last.
The weather was not too bad. Not warm, but now rain either!
I was sitting on the terrace and a robin was nosily visiting my table.
My father had called the bird "Gundi" - after my grandmother who purchased the cottage in the 1960-ies and loved the place a lot.
So she is still looking after everything.
I got Neil out of bed after more than 11 hours of sleep and we had coffee outside.
We always sit outside here, even when it is cold.
We went for a wander, had smoked fish at the smokers, bought some expensive beer at the tiny shop and went back to the house.
We left again for a coffee at one o the 2 restaurants.
It is end of the season here and not much is happening.
After the coffee we waked to the water.
The lake is pretty empty, as it is used as a water reservoir for the Weser. From June onwards the water levels are going down gradually.
When we passed the other restaurant our neighbours spotted us and waived us in.
We had some wine and food with Walter and Lisa, before we went back to the cosy house to sit and relax before falling to bed.
Blipping "Gundi" and as an extra the wee house.
