A Young Traveller's Farewell

There was another Traveller's funeral in town today. This time it was a 20 year old who met his end on a nearby road. He was travelling at well over 100 mph in a 60 limit just after midnight and hit a tractor and trailer which was loaded with grain. Of course our sympathy is with the family and the farmer whose tractor was hit.

It is fascinating to see all the flat bed trucks (about 12 of them) carrying all the flowers. There were 6 silver Rolls Royce funeral cars which apparently are brought up here from Derbyshire which is more than a two hour drive from here. My blip was taken about 20 minutes before the service started. All the women were in the church at the time and all the men waiting outside with well over 500 people attending. There was a large police presence (for our town) and there seemed to be an eerie silence.
