Purple Haze

It was blowing a gale when I got home from my trip into town (haircut and paint buying) so I was surprised to see there were still butterflies in the garden (8 small tortoiseshells and a solitary Painted Lady). Not the easiest of conditions for me or the butterflies. The blurriness is not one of these fancy effects, but just how the photo came out. I think Painted Lady's underwing is even more attractive than the upper wing.
