Today was the day I finally got together with the uni girls all at one time. I went over early to see Sam Gower and Laura Fry as Alex had to go to work (after having eaten risotto for breakfast!) Was great to see them and have coffee and cakes. Later on Jeanette and Sophie and finally Katie arrived. There was lots of gossiping and catching up and a trip to Sainsbury's to get pizzas (Sophie managed to drive into Jeanette's fence twice causing much hilarity.) Gave Laura her presents which was definitely a surprise for her and made all the effort worth it. Put on The Princess Diaries as a rubbish film we could talk over. Needless to say not much watching happened. In the evening Amar, Katie's boyfriend came over so we could meet him, as did Matt Bennett. Bit of an emotional goodbye.

Got home around 8.30 and had a grumpy Alex to deal with, hopefully I cheered him up!
