Australia v Kuwait

In Kuwait. I don’t usually go to the football but when your country’s team (The Socceroos) come to visit... you go. It was a last minute decision and lots of fun. There was one tiny section in the stand for us and the rest was filled with Kuwaitis (mostly men). A few local women joined us for we were a mixed group, and a few young kids who quickly learned to shout Aussie, Aussie, Aussie oi oi oi. And we won! 3:0. It’s the early rounds for the FIFA 2020 World Cup.

Afterwards I met a student from four years ago in Cairo. He’s here on business and is considering moving here. A good catch up.

The day started with a 1km swum then a body balance class. Nice to have a day off. Unfortunately my private student cancelled last minute.. a busy businessman!
