A wet and wild night and morning - and yet by afternoon blazing sunshine! The storm sounded very dramatic in the nighttime - various landslides across the island, different roads and areas closed off etc... Nate and I made the most of it and had a home based day, sorting through the kids clothes and stuff, getting overdue jobs done, cooking.
Late afternoon Claire came by which was really lovely.
Asha’s Catalán classes have restarted, so she headed off to that with gusto !

Today I’m grateful for;
1) Being safe inside during dramatic weather.
2) Time with Claire.
3) 17 turtle eggs hatching on a local beach!
